Researcher biography
I am a doctoral student at The University of Queensland investigating student advocacy for the environment and student activism in their local contexts. I recently completed a Bachelor of Education Honours degree from The University of Queensland, and I am now a registered teacher, currently teaching at a State School in Brisbane where my goal is to inspire young people to ‘be the change they wish to see in the world’. Through my research and professional practice, I hope to contribute to the transformation of schooling so that students learn to live sustainably in their everyday lives and perceive themselves as part of the living systems of the Earth.
