
Researcher biography
Tara is currently undertaking her PhD with the Child and Youth Mental Health Research Group at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. She is also a psychologist who is passionate about working with children, adolescents and young adults.
Her PhD research focuses on how children and adolescents are psychologically responding to climate change. More specifically, she is interested in climate anxiety in adolescence, particularly defining and measuring this experience.
Tara’s principal advisor is Dr. Hannah Thomas, and she is co-supervised by Professor James Scott and Associate Professor Fiona Charlson.
