Researcher biography
I am a PhD candidate at The University of Queensland currently working on using multivariate modelling approaches to predict co-infections in both humans and animals. My broader research interests align with a One Health approach, looking at the interconnections between human, animal and environmental health that drive infectious diseases, particularly those that burden developing countries. As such, I have a deep appreciation for transdisciplinary collaboration, and have a multidisciplinary background in biomedical science, sociology, French, and animal & veterinary biosciences.
Fran’s principal advisor is Dr. Nicholas Clark.
