Dr Skye Doherty

Skye Doherty is a leader in journalism innovation. Her research explores how technology can be designed to tell public interest stories and to address social issues. Her work has resulted in an award-winning storytelling tool, legislative change, and future-focused design prototypes. She came to academic research after an international career and as a journalist. She is a member of UQ’s Human-Centred Computing research group and leads the Design for Social Change theme within the Centre for Communication and Social Change.
