Researcher biography

Guoxin is a PhD student at ACWEB (Australian Centre for Water and Environmental Biotechnology) at the University of Queensland.

Her current research aims to show the time-series trend in multi-cities and find out where are the cities heading? The research will consider water supply, wastewater systems and the end-use side. By analysing cities’ time-series variations, changing reasons, and drivers, the study could help efficient energy use and reduce GHG emissions in the urban water cycle. Guoxin’s previous expertise included ecohydrology and wetland ecology before she came to UQ. Now, she is developing her interest in connecting water/ecology with human life and affecting urban water management.

Guoxin’s principal advisor is Prof. Steven Kenway.
