Researcher biography
I am passionate about understanding biological mechanisms of behaviour and particularly those that underpin psychological disorders. I found my calling in Cognitive Neuroscience when I completed my MPhil in Neuroscience at the Queensland Brain Institute last year. Prior to that I completed my undergrad in Bio Science in Sri Lanka and worked for many years in National HIV prevention programmes. I am now continuing my passion as a PhD student looking to uncover underlying mechanisms of sensory sensitivities particularly with respect to Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Roshini's principal advisor is Dr Marta Garrido.
