Researcher biography
David Harris has been actively involved in science management and operations for the past 20 years.
His experience includes work at the Australian Institute of Marine Science, The University of Queensland and in collaboration with multiple other national and international partners. At the University he has been responsible for multiple levels of management, and including a university level centre, and has held faculty-wide responsibilities.
He has been responsible for the co-ordination of multiple large scale national research projects (over $10 million) and represented the University at international forums on specific research related topics. His expertise in the design, construction and management of large scale infrastructure projects (over $30 million) has included the delivery of research support platforms and buildings.
