The following guidelines outline the management and conduct of HDR Progress Reviews in the School of Communication and Arts. These guidelines should be used in combination with the policy and procedures documents in PPL4.60.05 Higher Degree by Research Candidature Progression. Oral Presentation


20 minute School presentation with 10 minute question time.


Evidence of a prior oral presentation of research to audience outside the advisory team.


Prior School Completion Seminar (20 minutes, with 10 minute question time), or equivalent, either internal to UQ or outside UQ.

Note: Documents should be submitted by the census date of the research quarter in which your review is due.

Panel Composition

Your Progress Review Panel (PRP) in the School of Communication and Arts will consist of
